Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr Shahzad Khan Bangash chaired a meeting in Peshawar to review preparations for the second phase of Local Government elections in 18 districts of the province to be held on Thursday.

Addressing the meeting, the Chief Secretary directed divisional and district officers to install cameras on sensitive polling stations.

He said display of arms during elections would be banned and district administration should impose section 144 and take necessary steps in this connection.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Election Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, Secretary Home and Secretary Local Government Department attended the meeting.
