President Asif Ali Zardari has extended warm felicitations to the Prime Minister of Canada on his party's victory in the federal elections.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said Pakistan and Canada enjoy excellent bilateral relations and expressed hope that the ties will further strengthen under the leadership of Prime Minister Mark Carney.
