A delegation of Dutch company Royal Friesland Campina and Engro Pakistan Jan Derck Van Karnebeek met Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday.  

The Prime Minister welcomed the company's investment for value addition of dairy products in Pakistan.

He said Pakistan is one of the top milk producing countries in the world and is desirous of cooperating with companies like Friesland Campina to develop the dairy sector.  

The Prime Minister said sustainable development of the dairy industry and improving farmers' livelihoods are among top priorities of the government.
