In Saudi Arabia, two people have been killed in an exchange of fire with security personnel near the US consulate in Jeddah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a man with a firearm was stopped near the US Consulate by the security authorities before an exchange of fire with him, which led to his killing.
A Nepalese security guard at the consulate was injured in the incident and subsequently died of wounds.
Local police said a security investigation is being made to determine the circumstances of the incident.
