Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed that no delay should be committed in merger of erstwhile FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Chairing a meeting of FATA Task Force in Peshawar on Friday, he said fast-paced work needs to be carried out for administrative, legal, and developmental merger of FATA.

The Prime Minister said all departments should work in collaboration for the common objective of welfare of the people of tribal areas.

He said the people of FATA have rights equal to other citizens of the country, and every possible step will be taken for their development.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri and other senior officials attended the meeting.
