DIG Islamabad Police Ali Waseem has directed all officers to regularly hold open courts (Khuli Katcheri) to ensure timely redressal of citizens' grievances and the resolution of their issues.

Chairing an important meeting regarding crime prevention and police performance, DIG Ali Waseem, ordered to carry out effective and targeted operations against active criminal gangs by utilizing all available resources.

He said the arrest of individuals with prior criminal records, proclaimed offenders, and habitual criminals must be ensured.

The DIG Islamabad reviewed the performance of all officers while show cause notices were also issued to SHOs and investigation officers with poor performance records.

All SHOs were given a fifteen days deadline to improve their performance.

The meeting was attended by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, SSP Investigation Suleman Zafa , Zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs.
