President Asif Ali Zardari has commended the security forces for successful operations against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

In a statement, he said the security forces and law enforcement agencies thwarted the terrorists' nefarious designs through effective strategy.

The President said Pakistan has sacrificed thousands of its brave sons and daughters in the war against terrorism and establishing global peace.

He said the entire nation takes pride in the courage and bravery of the security forces and law enforcement personnel.

Asif Ali Zardari said the Pakistani nation and its brave armed forces have capability and resolve to thwart attempts of the enemies of peace and stability in Pakistan, the region and the world.

He said every attempt by the enemies of peace and stability will be foiled with the cooperation of friendly countries and allies.

The President expressed the resolve to continue operations against terrorists with full force until the complete elimination of terrorism.
