Chairman Kashmir Committee Shehryar Khan Afridi says the Indian army officer charged in Shopian fake encounter case should be penalized in accordance with international laws.

He stated this in his reaction on the recent charge sheet filed by police of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir against an Indian Army officer and two others in the Shopian fake encounter case that led to killings of three Kashmiri civilians in July.

Shehryar Afridi urged the world to act against Indian 'war crimes' in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and stop the occupation forces from grave human rights violations there.

While quoting the charge sheet, he said it clearly indicated that the Indian occupation forces martyred innocent Kashmiri youth to discredit Pakistan.
