Defence ministers of Russia, Turkiye and Syria have agreed to work together to resolve crisis in Syris.

In a statement, Russian defence ministry said three sides at a meeting in Moscow discussed ways to resolve the Syrian crisis, the problem of refugees, and joint efforts to combat extremist groups in Syria.

It was the first meeting of defence ministers of Turkiye and Syria since the start of the war in 201.

The Turkish Defence Minister also termed the meeting as constructive.
