Caretaker Minister for National Food Security, Dr. Kausar Abdullah Malik, has clearly stated that there is no shortage of wheat in the country.
Addressing the National Kissan Convention in Islamabad today, he expressed confidence in Pakistan's ability to soon export essential food items like wheat and rice.
The government, he mentioned, is actively working to increase wheat production and reduce the productivity gap.
Emphasizing agriculture's pivotal role in the economy, the Minister assured that obstacles in this sector would be prioritized for resolution. He highlighted that by maximizing production potential, Pakistan could easily become an agriculture surplus country.
