Thirty-two people were martyred and 147 injured when a suicide bomber blew himself during the Namza-e-Zuhr congregation at a mosque near Police Lines in Peshawar on Monday.
According to Rescue 1122, the bodies and injured have been shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.
The roof of the mosque collapsed after the blast, due to which injured people were stuck under the rubble. The Rescue teams are still taking out the people from the rubble and shifting them to hospitals.
Emergency has been imposed in all the hospitals of Peshawar.
Security forces have cordoned off the area.
Meanwhile, Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan has directed to expedite rescue activities to save lives of the injured.
He directed emergency steps for shifting the injured to the hospital immediately.
Muhammad Azam Khan also directed the health authorities to ensure provision of best medical treatment to the injured.
