In India, Odisha's Health and Family Welfare Minister, Naba Kishore Das was shot dead by a police officer in the state’s Jharsuguda district.

The Minister was airlifted to Bhubaneswar in an air ambulance and admitted to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
