Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says Punjab Government is fully committed to democracy, rule of law and the protection of vulnerable groups.

During a meeting with a delegation led by the European Union Special Representative for Human Rights Olof Skoog in Lahore on Thursday, she highlighted the government's measures for welfare of minorities, women, children and persons with disabilities.

The European Union delegation also met with the Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora in Lahore today.

The EU delegation reiterated its commitment to support the Punjab government’s efforts to uphold human rights and democracy.
