The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has signed an agreement with a Chinese company to build a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) including two hundred twenty-five megawatt Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant at Daraband in Dera Ismail Khan.

The agreement was signed between the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company with China Machinery Engineering Corporation in Peshawar.
