Second Bahawalpur literary and cultural festival has begun at Islamia University Bahawalpur.

Festival's inaugural ceremony was held today [Wednesday] in which renowned Actor Touqir Nasir highlighted the importance of festival. He said that such festival is playing an important role for the promotion of arts and culture in the society.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Prof Dr Ather Mahboob said that during the four days festival, many interesting events including Media Conclave, Mushaira, Sufi Night, Qawwali Night, launching ceremony, Rubaru sessions with renowned personalities are part of the event.

Tomorrow special event titled " Rubaru" in conversation with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ather Mahboob will be held which is being moderated by Controller News radio Pakistan Sajjad Parvez.

Another interesting session will be "Media Conclave". Renowned TV writer Amna Mufti, Station Director Radio Pakistan Lahore Nazakat Shakila, Renowned TV Artist Azra Aftab, Captain National Hockey team Muhammad Umar Bhuta, Renowned TV writes Asghar Nadeem Sayed and others will participate in discussion about Pakistan's seventy five glorious years.

This special event will be moderated by Controller News Radio Pakistan Sajjad Parvez.

Apart from this Radio Pakistan's Controller News Sajjad Parvez first book "22LOG"s launching ceremony will be held tomorrow [Thursday].
