Pakistan and China have agreed to increase cooperation in meteorological science and technology.

An understanding to this effect was reached during a talk between meteorological officers and experts from China and Pakistan in Beijing.

On the occasion, Deputy Administrator of China Meteorological Administration Zhang Zuqiang said China looks forward to promoting the construction of cloud-based early warning supporting system with Pakistan.

Both sides also agreed for deepening cooperation on early warning supporting system, operational capacity building, and training.

Director General of Pakistan Meteorological Department Mahr Sahibzad Khan said Pakistan will continue to support China in international meteorological governance.
