People from different walks of life welcome Federal Budget

People from different walks of life have welcomed the federal budget.

Recording their impressions about the budget to Radio Pakistan, residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have hailed the government for providing them relief in taxes.

Representatives of the business community were of the view that the incentives proposed in the budget will give boost to the economy through enhanced investment and accelerated trade activities.

Residence in big cities is an important problem of the common man. Government employees have welcomed 50 percent increase in the house rent and house hiring ceiling and 10 percent increase in salaries and pensions.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Senator Abdul Qayyum has hailed Finance Minister Miftah Ismail for presenting an all-friendly budget 2018-19 with focus on agriculture, health and Education.

Talking to private news channel, he said that practical measures have been announced for the progress of agriculture sectors while no burden had been put on poor and low-income people in the budget for next financial year.

Abdul Qayyum also appreciated that by giving relief to the farmers the government has won their hearts.

He said that energy crisis and terrorism have been eliminated due to the sincere efforts of the PML-N government.

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has said that despite challenges PML-N Govt has presented a tax free and balanced budget.

Talking to newsmen in district Attock, he said to bring maximum people into tax net, tax rate has been decreased specially those whose monthly income is up to Rs. 0.1 million.

Talking about the performance of PML-N Govt, he said that when this Govt took over in 2013 , the country was facing terrorism and economy was near to collapse.

However, with the best and country friendly policies of the Govt all this has been controlled and country is now on the right track to development.
