Interim Government of Afghanistan has called on Iran to resolve bilateral issues through diplomatic channels.

Deputy spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hafiz Zia Ahmad told Arab News that Kabul does not want strained relations with its neighboring countries.

He said the current situation is normal and Interim Afghan government does not want escalation.
