Medical examination of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was carried out at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad on Monday.

According to sources, his blood flow has improved but blood pressure was very high at 120/170.

To control increased sugar level in the blood, Nawaz Sharif was given insulin.

Islamabad administration has declared premises of Private Ward of Cardiac Center at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad sub-jail for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif with immediate effect till further orders.

A notification to this effect was issued by the office of Chief Commissioner Islamabad.

Nawaz Sharif, who had been undergoing sentence in Adiala Jail in Avenfield reference, was shifted to PIMS last night after facing health complications.
