Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Ameer Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman met with the leader of Grand Democratic Alliance Pir Pagara in Karachi today (Wednesday).  

During the meeting, current political situation and presidential election were discussed.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman asked the leader of GDA to support him in the presidential election.

Later, talking to newsmen, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said that Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz could not reach on consensus on a joint candidate for presidential election.

He said that he had not any objection if both parties made consensus on the name of Aitzaz Ahsan.
