
Pakistan and Türkiye have expressed satisfaction over the continued strengthening and expansion of bilateral relations in the political, economic, security and cultural domains.
This came during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Türkiye Hakan Fidan in Istanbul today.
Welcoming the progress achieved under the framework of the Pakistan-Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, the two Foreign Ministers agreed on the early convening of the next session of the Council.
They also exchanged views on issues of regional and international importance and reaffirmed their commitment to continue working closely for regional peace and stability.
Special Secretary of the United Nations Nabeel Munir, Director General, United Nations, Umar Siddique, First Secretary Qazi Saleem and Deputy Director to the Foreign Minister Agha Hunain were also present during the meeting.
