Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has formally launched mobile police station vans equipped with modern facilities and technology to provide policing services at citizens’ doorsteps.

Speaking on the occasion, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said the mobile police stations will operate under specialized teams and provide services with dignity and respect.

She said Pink mobile police stations, staffed by women, will deal with sensitive matters involving harassment, violence and abuse against women and children.

A total of 33 mobile police stations will operate across Punjab, including six dedicated to women-related issues.
