President Dr Arif Alvi has stressed to create awareness about cyber security in the country as the digital data is very important in modern era. 

He was addressing the grand finale awards ceremony of Digital Pakistan Cyber Security Competition in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The President said trillions of digital transitions are being made daily in the world and protection of this data has now become a global challenge. 

He emphasized that the universities should produce IT experts to meet this modern challenge.

Dr Arif Alvi said despite increasing cyber security issues; the world has no option rather than digitalization.

He said Pakistan is also facing fake news on social media platforms and the youth should be well aware of the baseless propaganda against the country.

The President also distributed awards among winners of the competition.

Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi has urged the investors to take benefit of government's construction package.

Addressing the concluding ceremony of Pakistan International Property Expo 2021 in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said Pakistan has adopted a very liberal investment policy to ensure a favourable business climate specifically in construction sector.

The President said development in construction sector will stimulate more than fifty allied industries.
