Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi conducted a comprehensive visit to the Institute of Cardiology in Dera Ghazi Khan today, emphasizing the need for immediate measures to make the facility fully operational.

During the visit, Chief Minister Naqvi directed the concerned authorities to expedite efforts to address the shortage of medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and paramedical professionals at the Institute of Cardiology.

The Chief Minister underscored the critical role the hospital plays in providing cardiac treatment to patients from South Punjab. He expressed his commitment to streamlining the hospital's systems, ensuring an easier and more efficient experience for patients.

Additionally, Mohsin Naqvi turned his attention to the livestock sector during his visit to the Veterinary Hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan. He directed officials from the Livestock Department Punjab to formulate a sustainable strategy within seven days aimed at increasing livestock production by tenfold.

Highlighting the growing demand for livestock in the UAE and other international markets, Chief Minister emphasized the need for a strategic plan to tap into these opportunities. He expressed optimism about the discussions held during his recent visit to the UAE, focusing on the export potential of livestock products. The Chief Minister affirmed that all necessary steps would be taken to enhance the livestock sector in Punjab for the benefit of the community.

Before concluding his visit, Caretaker Chief Minister Naqvi toured the Veterinary Hospital and the Livestock Business and Incubation Center in Dera Ghazi Khan.
