People belonging to the low-income groups have been invited to submit applications for becoming a part of the recently launched "BISP Saving Scheme".

According to an official source, the BISP has started this scheme for deserving people living in Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Neelam, Peshawar, Lucky Marwat, Quetta, Qila Saifullah, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, Sukkur, Gilgit and Astore. 

The applicants are required to apply a web portal: savings.bisp.gov.pk to become a part of this scheme without paying any fee.

Meanwhile, chairperson BISP, Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib said that purpose of the scheme is to open the accounts of deserving people for saving some account for their future.
