Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that government is taking every possible step to promote information technology sector. 

He was addressing at the foundation laying ceremony of the multipurpose building of Information Technology University in Lahore today.

He said innovation is the key for survival and progress in this competitive world and those who do not change with the passage of time, are left behind.

The Minister urged the youth to think out of box for moving ahead in their chosen fields.

Ahsan Iqbal expressed hope that the multipurpose building of IT University will facilitate the IT students in every respect.
