A special grand Jirga was held at Bala Hissar Fort in Peshawar with the message of peace.

Describing the holding of Jirga as timely, the tribal elders said they stand shoulder to shoulder with the government and security forces for elimination of Fitna-ul-Khawarij and peace in Khyber District.

The participants were informed that Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps North and other law enforcement agencies are actively working for peace in Khyber district and that no individual or group will be allowed to disturb peace in the district.

The authorities emphasized the need for awareness amongst the public to foil the propaganda of Khawarij.

The tribal elders said they will work together with Pakistan Army to ensure peace.
