Prime Minister's Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza says that the PTI Government has started the biggest programme in the history of the country to control hepatitis.

He said this during his visit to World Health Organization's office in Islamabad on Monday.

The Special Assistant said that the government is also working on a comprehensive programme regarding nutrition.

Dr Zafar Mirza said that health cards' facility has been provided to about five million families, which will be doubled by the end of next year.

WHO Representative in Pakistan Dr Palitha Gunarathna Mahipala commended Dr Zafar Mirza's leadership qualities for making recently concluded anti-polio vaccination campaign a success.
