The United Arab Emirates and Punjab Government have decided to form a Working Group to further boost bilateral cooperation.
The decision to this effect was taken during a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, in Lahore today.
During the meeting, both the sides discussed ways and means to boost economic cooperation, development projects in Punjab, and the promotion of tourism. The Chief Minister invited UAE investors to invest in Punjab, ensuring special incentives and a conducive business environment for them.
Speaking on the occasion, the UAE Ambassador said that the UAE wants to work on more projects in Pakistan. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi said that the UAE is committed to promoting durable progress through public-private partnerships with the Punjab Government.
