Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to China will further give impetus to bilateral strategic relations in diverse sectors.
Addressing a ceremony in Multan, he said the Prime Minister will hold important meetings with Chinese leadership on various issues of mutual interest, including bilateral trade and regional security situation.
About Afghanistan situation, the Foreign Minister said Afghan leadership has assured that their land will not be used against Pakistan or any other neighboring country. However, he said some spoilers want to create instability the region.
Replying to a question about visa restrictions for Pakistani pilgrims by India, the Foreign Minister regretted that the Indian government is not issuing visas to the pilgrims for Ajmair Sharif.
He said Pakistan has taken many steps to facilitate pilgrims from India to visit their holy sites but the Indian government is not reciprocating.
