The UN mission of Inter-Agency Standing Committee to Afghanistan has reported positive signs concerning women's rights in Afghanistan.
The mission, led by the UN Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths was sent to Afghanistan to look into the effects of ban on women's employment and their humanitarian work.
Addressing a press briefing, Martin Griffiths said he has conveyed a message to Taliban authorities that the role of women in humanitarian operations is necessary.
