The UN Security Council will meet today over the decision by the International Court of Justice ordering Israel to prevent acts of genocide in besieged Gaza. 

Algeria has requested the meeting.

Meanwhile, the United Nations has called on donor states to urgently restore lifesaving aid for Gaza to protect lives of over two million civilians.

Talking to media in New York, spokesperson to the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, said that UN chief is utmost trying to persuade major donors to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees to keep lifesaving funds continue to serve traumatized people of Gaza.
