In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference while welcoming the exchange of letters between the prime ministers of Pakistan and India has said that all such developments will bear fruit only when the Kashmir dispute is resolved as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people.

APHC General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahmad in a statement issued in Srinagar, today (Wednesday), said that Pakistan and India should make significant progress towards addressing the core issue of Kashmir.

Meanwhile, students staged a protest in Pulwama against the illegal detention of a fellow student. Indian police also arrested three youth in Budgam and Doda areas.
