In India, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a nationwide ‘PM Hatao, Desh Bachao’ poster campaign in eleven languages against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Taking cognizance of the matter, the police have filed 49 FIRs and arrested six people, including owners of two printing press firms. 

Criticising the arrests, Delhi Chief Minister and national convener of Aam Admi Party Arvind Kejriwal said that even the British did not arrest those who put posters against them during the Freedom movement.
