Coordinated security plan made to ensure security in ICT: IGP

Inspector General Islamabad Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has said  a coordinated security plan has been made to ensure security in the federal capital during the days Eid ul Fitr.  

In his message on Eid ul Fitr, he said over thirty five hundred officers and personnel will be patrolling the city. Eighteen checkpoints have been set up at the city's entry and exit points.

The Inspector General said a crackdown will be carried out against street crimes, hooliganism and aerial firing.

Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said the capital city is being monitored through body-worn cameras, ANPR, and trackers. He said Islamabad Police will ensure that peace is maintained in the city at all costs.

The Inspector General said special traffic arrangements have also been made to provide the best facilities to tourists coming to Murree. Over five hundred traffic personnel will ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
