President, PM urge to share affluence, support needy on Eid

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in their messages of Eid-ul-Fitr have urged the nation to remember on this blessed occasion those who are facing economic hardships.

In their separate messages, they appealed the people to share joys of Eid-ul-Fitr with deserving and destitute and play their role in transforming a welfare society.

They also extended their heartfelt felicitation to the entire nation and the Muslim world on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The  president also prayed for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to get freedom and the opportunity to celebrate Eid in peace.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that Pakistan currently facing threats from both internal and external enemies.

He stressed need to avoid all forms of extremism, hatred, and sectarianism.

To ensure the nation's integrity and stability, he called for unity and vigilance to prevent any conspiracy from succeeding.

Shehbaz Sharif said government is making every effort to achieve economic recovery, maintain peace and order, and ensure social stability.

Prime Minister commended the sacrifices of the armed forces  in the fight against terrorism and extended solidarity to the bereaved families of the martyrs.

In his message, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has extended Eid ul-Fitr greetings to Muslims in Pakistan and around the world.

He said Eid ul-Fitr teaches us the values of brotherhood, love and unity.

He said we must not forget our oppressed Kashmiri and Palestinian brothers and sisters on this blessed occasion. He said we will continue our moral and diplomatic support for them.
