Relevant government departments are continuing their operations to purge country of drugs, smuggling, illegal hoarding and power pilferage.

During these operations this year, 125,736 metric tons of fertilizer, 19,471 metric tons sugar, 7,132 metric tons of wheat, 272,822 cigarette stocks and 23,384 cloth rolls were seized across the country.    

In the ongoing campaign against electricity theft, 77.226 billion rupees were recovered and over sixty thousand electricity thieves arrested.

Government agencies also seized 246.6 metric tons of drugs this year.
