The government has revised the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight.

According to a press release by the Finance Division, the price of petrol has been raised by 0.56 rupees per litre, while high-speed diesel has seen an increase of 2.96 rupees per litre.

After the rise, the new price of petrol will be 252.66 rupees, while that of high-speed diesel will be 258.34 rupees.

The new prices have become effective from midnight tonight. The changes in the prices of petroleum products reflect fluctuations in the international market.
