Brig (Retd) Said Nazir (Defense Analyst): The fearfulness of Hindutva ideology exposed in Narendra Modi’s India as a lone Hijab-wearing girl student was heckled by RSS goons in saffron shawls but she daringly continued shouting Allah-o-Akbar. Since Narendra Modi has come into power in India, the minorities there including Muslims, Sikh , Christian and others are unsafe. It is unfortunate that the anti-Muslim propaganda perpetrated by India’s elected and unelected leaders in 2021 has also been supported by the country’s brazenly Islamophobic media, as well as anti-Muslim laws and policies passed or proposed in many states. The Hindu extremists across India make it clear to Muslims that they are no longer seen as equal citizens in their own country. Basically the main agenda of the present Indian government is to promote Hindutva ideology but adopting the policies India is heading towards destruction. The world is adopting double standards as it is not taking serious notice of what the Indian government is doing with the minorities
