Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): The present government is trying its level best to revive the halted projects of CPEC. The new government is determined to restart the delayed projects with new enthusiasm and planning. Unfortunately, the previous government did not pay attention to actively engaging China to speed up various projects under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor. We must realize that this is a project that will bring an economic revolution in the country. The present government is also on toes and devising comprehensive strategies to bring the country out of challenges. CPEC will ensure and promote regional connectivity and make possible fast pace development in the region. Pakistan wants strong bilateral relations with all other countries. The United States is well aware of the geographical importance of Pakistan and strong bilateral relations between the two countries are important for regional peace and stability.
