A. M. Shahid (Former Ambassador): Getting out of the grey list is a remarkable achievement of Pakistan. Pak Army, ANF, banking sector and all other institutions of Pakistan really worked hard to get the country out of the grey list of Financial Action Task Force. Strong anti-money laundering measures were adopted and the criminals prosecuted. India has been continuously trying to malign Pakistan in the world and has left no stone unturned to include Pakistan in the grey list of FATF. Inclusion into white list of FATF will help the country in a number of ways. Now, the remittances into the country and sending out dollars for educational and business purposes will be easier. Now, the country has a positive image and international financial institutions will trust the country.
