Foreign minister urges world to engage in dialogue with interim Afghan government for regional stability

Abdullah Gul (Defense Analyst): The Institute of Strategic Studies is a well reputed think tank in Pakistan. It is serving in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to devise foreign policy in order to facilitate the government at diplomatic level. The foreign minister has clearly stated that Pakistan wants good relations with all the neighboring countries for the sake of regional peace and stability. It is unfortunate that the war on terror was imposed on Pakistan and Islamabad is still fighting this war. It has sacrificed thousand of lives and suffered heavy financial losses to maintain peace. After the US invasion of Afghanistan, India penetrated Afghanistan and used Afghan soil for its nefarious designs against Pakistan. Moreover, the foreign minister also urged the international community to engage in dialogue with the interim Afghan government for the sake of peace and stability. However, some anti-Pakistan elements within the country are making utmost efforts to defame Pakistan in the world through the 5th war generation.
