Saudi Arabia and Qatar being the Muslim countries have good relations with Pakistan and share cultural and religious affiliations with each other. A huge number of Pakistani citizens are working in Qatar and Saudi Arabia and contributing to a great extent in Pakistan’s economy through their remittances. Both Saudi Arabia and Qatar have always supported Pakistan economically through trade and investment. The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Saudi Arabia and Qatar and reiterated commitment to look for new avenues of investment in order to boost the economy of the country. Both Qatar and Saudi Arabia have also acknowledged the stance of Pakistan on Palestine and Lebanon issues. The establishment of SIFC in Pakistan is a great initiative of the incumbent government and many countries have been expressing interest to invest in different sectors in the country.
