Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have enjoyed deep rooted bilateral relations. The visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will further improve the bilateral ties between two brotherly nations. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia can collaborate in various projects relating to climate change. Economic cooperation between Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been very strong since ever. KSA has always extended generous financial assistance to Pakistan in every hour of need. Recently Saudi Minister and delegation visited Pakistan and discussed possibilities of Saudi investment in numerous projects including Riko Diq project.Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a deep connection and Riyadh has always been meeting our petroleum needs. There is a huge potential of sending Pakistani manpower to work in different sectors of Saudi economy. We already have long term socio-economic partnership with KSA and Pakistan is likely to come out of economic cooperation with the help of friendly countries. Security cooperation and collaboration is another important aspect of bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Pakistan is located at the center of South and East Asia and Middle East and also blessed with enormous resources. KSA has overall influence over Muslim world and Pakistan may urge KSA to press Afghanistan to stop allowing use of its soil against Pakistan. Afghanistan has seven nighbouring countries but unfortunately only Pakistan is target of terrorism. I expect that COAS will talk to KSA on this issue because Afghanistan has become hub of terrorism. KSA can play positive role in this regard. Terrorists target Pakistan defense forces just because of the fact that Pakistan is only Muslim country which is blessed with such professional and well organized armed forces. India is continuously supporting anti-Pakistan elements in the country using social media and other tools. So we need to stand united against fake and malicious propaganda against Pakistan. We need to tell our youth that Pakistani nation is not for sale.
