Minister of Inter Provincial Coordination Dr. Fahmida Mirza says her Ministry is playing pivotal role in reducing the gap between provinces and centre through cooperative federalism.
In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Islamabad, she said the IPC Ministry will arrange different programs and seminars to bring uniformity in development between provinces which is major aim of Sustainable Development Goals.
She said through proper mechanism of cooperation, centre and provinces should work together for facilitating people at the grassroot level.
Commending the government's economic policies, she said through ease of doing business investment opportunities in provinces will increase.
The Minister said centre and provinces should also work for utilizing the foreign investment in tourism sector properly.
She said the government is making all out efforts to promote religious tourism in the country on the pattern of Kartarpur Corridor.
She said the government is doing its best for the promotion of sports in the country and to facilitate sportsmen in the upcoming South Asian Games.
Condemning the Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir, she appreciated the government's role in highlighting the issue at every world forum. She said dialogue is the only way forward to resolve the Kashmir issue. Fehmida Mirza said New Delhi has illegally occupied the valley and committing grave human rights violations there over the armless Kashmiris.
She said India has turned the Occupied Kashmir into a prison. She regretted over the silence of international community regarding the issue despite the UN resolutions on Occupied Kashmir.
