In Malaysia, former Interior Minister Muhyiddin Yassin took oath as new Prime Minister of the country in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

Muhyiddin was appointed to the office after Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s resignation last month, which triggered a political crisis and led to the collapse of government.
