The Government has established the Adjudicating Authority under Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act-2017.

In a statement today, FBR said that notification has been issued in this regard.

It said that retired Pakistan Administrative Service officer Jamil Ahmed will be the chairman of the authority while Muhammad Tanvir Akhtar and Khaqan Murtaza will be its members.

The Adjudicating Authority will start functioning from tomorrow.
