In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, occupation troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred nine Kashmiris during the last month.
According to Kashmir Media Service, four of those martyred were victims of fake encounters and custodial killings.
During the month, twelve Kashmiris sustained critical injuries, while 160 people were arrested under draconian laws like the Public Safety Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Indian troops conducted 196 cordon-and-search operations and house raids in November across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian forces also damaged two houses during the operations.
Additionally, the BJP-led Indian government confiscated and attached 140 properties, including lands, houses and shops, using draconian laws to suppress the Kashmiri people’s political aspirations.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned India's use of state terrorism as an official policy to suppress the Kashmiris’ struggle for their right to self-determination.
APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar stated that since the revocation of Article 370 in August 2019, Indian troops have martyred more than 940 Kashmiris, arrested over 25,365 and subjected 2,449 to torture in the occupied territory.
Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh has criticized the Modi government for prematurely celebrating the discovery of lithium reserves in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
