Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Serena Chowk interchange project site in Islamabad today and reviewed the progress of the work, which is nearing completion at a rapid pace.

The Interior Minister directed the authorities to expedite the work on the project and complete it within the given deadline.

Mohsin Naqvi also reviewed and approved the beautification plan for Serena Chowk.

He said the underpass will be completed in the next five days and will be opened for traffic once the drainage work is finalized.

Mohsin Naqvi also instructed for the beautification of the project’s surroundings with plants and flowers while ensuring the preservation and safety of existing trees as much as possible.

Earlier, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed the Interior Minister about the progress of the construction work.
