The UN General Assembly (UNGA) will resume its 10th emergency special session on next Friday after Palestine's UN membership bid was blocked by the United States at the Security Council last month.
UN General Assembly President Dennis Francis has informed that emergency special session was requested by Saudi Arabia, Mauritania and Uganda.
The permanent observer of Palestine to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, expressed the hope that the General Assembly would ask the Security Council to reconsider the issue at the emergency special session on Gaza.
